Stitches for Survival
Time & Location
About the Event
R:evolve are collaborating with Stitches For Survival, a group of "craftivists" to knit, sew, crochet or weave panels of climate and environmental messages that will be sewn into scarves and displayed in and around Glasgow in the run up to and during COP26!
These will displayed on 6th and 7th November at an event in Glasgow Green to raise awareness of the climate crisis and inspire people to take action - you can see us doing a practice run in the photo!
We are inviting members of our R:evolve community, to come along to our Social Stitch-Up events and help us join up the panels into sections of 20 for display. If you can knit, crochet, or sew then we need you! Don't worry if you aren't a confident crafter; our volunteers will be on hand to get you started.
